The TIMO360 desktop agent is the employee activity tracking agent behind your organization's attendance and active/idle time reports. Install it, then enter the enrollment code from your invite email.

Quick Start

Three steps to get set up

Setup takes under two minutes. No administrative root privileges are required for standard user installations.

  1. Step 1

    Install

Run the installer you downloaded above. On macOS, drag the app into Applications; on Linux, mark the AppImage executable.

  2. Step 2

    Open

Launch the agent. It starts on the enrollment screen and asks for a code; nothing is tracked before you enter one.

  3. Step 3

    Paste your code

Copy the enrollment code from your invite email into the box and press Connect. That is it: the agent runs in the background from now on.

Where do I find my enrollment code?

It is in the email your administrator sent you, shown as three groups of six characters (for example A1B2C3-D4E5F6-G7H8I9). Codes work once and expire 1 day after they are issued. If yours has expired, ask your administrator to resend the invite; they can do that directly from your employee page in the organization management dashboard.

What the agent does, and does not, track

TIMO360 strictly monitors active presence signals without capturing private communication, keystrokes, or screen pixels.

Collected Signals

  • Which application is currently focused in the foreground
  • Active window title text, as text only and never page content
  • Whether keyboard/mouse activity indicates active or idle status
  • Punch in/out, break and meeting times recorded in the agent
  • Batched local heartbeats transmitted every 30 seconds

Never Collected

  • Keystroke logging or specific characters typed
  • Screenshots, screen recording, video feeds, or webcam access
  • Passwords, form field contents, credit cards, or clipboard data
  • Private messages, emails, chats, or personal document text
  • Microphone audio or background ambient noise
